Relay For Life

It is now that time of year again to be thinking of Relay for Life.  We have set a lofty goal of raising $32,000, the most we've ever raised!  Can we do it?  Are you all up for it?  During the snow days this week I went for a walk with my trusty and loyal best friend, Murphy.  He never complains about anything and just wants to enjoy life and walk as much as he can!  I took this photo of the frozen lake near where I live and thought about how lucky I am to be able to go
Murphy McEwen
for a walk on a cold and windy day.  Every second in this country,  people are given the scary diagnosis that "you have cancer," and nothing is ever the same again.  Together, we can work to make a difference and continue on the tradition of past teams.  Mrs. Cook, Mrs. Strayer, and I promise that this will be a life changing event for you, and you will truly learn that you can make a difference.

Venturers,
We have a lot of things happening in the next couple of months.  We will be making cancer brochures in ASE, we will be making PSAs, and we'll be holding a pasta dinner at the end of April.

Crusaders,
You are the seasoned veterans.  What ideas do you have? You are in the driver's seat!

I will be posting some PSAs on this site from time to time to give the Venturers an idea of how creative and wonderful last year's PSAs were.  Check out this one below!

Immigration Reenactment Photos and Videos from Period 5

Ah, snow days!  I can finally catch up on things that have been "on the list", but way down the list.  Period 8 I am sorry but I cannot find the photos I took of your class!  Enjoy the memories.  Sorry that I didn't get any photos of the processors either.  Too much was going on.  I did however get a few of the processors int he videos on the bottom.

Little did we know that a baby was about to be born...

First Annual Coat of Arms Parade

Our first Coat of Arms parade was a resounding success!  Check out the photos below.  Mrs. Strayer, Mrs. Cook, and I were all very impressed with the efforts put into your coat of arms and into your connected costume.
