Fourth Annual Venturer Native American Artifact Museum

The Venturer students held their fourth annual Native American artifact museum exhibition on Friday, October 22nd.  Students shared their archeology finds with the museum curators, Mrs. Cook and Mr. McEwen.  The displays were very impressive!  The best ever!  Your behavior was excellent, and we appreciate how hard you all worked to create a great visual display.  Enjoy some of the pictures of the event!  We even are fortunate to have a video of two visiting German archeologists from the Bavarian Alps.  It seems as if they have made a Pueblo finding in the desert of Arizona and a controversy is brewing between the United States and German governments over who owns this precious artifact.  When you listen to the video, turn your volume way up!  The camera man was an amateur.

We are ending the nine weeks on a very positive note.  Every one had their artifact on time!  Impressive!

Our next product created in social studies will be an explorer treasure chest.  More information will be coming in the next few weeks.
