In our ASE class, we are studying the impressionist era of art in France. We are currently working on some masterpieces which are either an inspiration or a new version of a famous painting. Stay tuned for photos from our art show.

I cannot wait to see how these paintings come out! When I saw them on Thursday afternoon, they were beginning to take shape. I hope that the students remember to really take note of the brush strokes. I have only to look at the "Flag" picture that you have in your room to know that what looks amazing from a distance, looks quite different close up.
